Hi guys,

Come this monsoon, I have managed to tie up an exclusive deal with a new 4-star Spa resort for a special "monsoon promotion". It's located at the south eastern end of Bintan (trikora) thus it would not be so affected by the monsoon. As P.Tioman and P.Aur will be closed, other non affected dive sites such as Manado will need you to take up at least 5 days off from your schedule. This will basically be for divers who want to carry on diving over this period but are only able to make it during the weekends.

As some of you guys may have already dived at this location, the highlight would of course be its night dive, with common sightings of octopus and seahorse. What would be different this time will be its accommodation. It's a 12 hectare spa resort with full resort amenities, such as room service, 2 swimming pools, buffet breakfast, Spa many other sea sports (check itinerary). A different diving experience !!

As traveling time will take only 2.5 hrs, rest assure that you wouldn't have to go through a long ride before reaching the resort (we'll reach the resort on friday night). We'll have plenty of time to enjoy the facilities of the resort. The Spa is really good by the way, with a excellent sea view and not forgetting a private Jacuzzi.

** P.s, I've tried the resort out personally, and believe me, its really impressive!

This is definitely diving with a touch of luxury :)

Sample itinerary

Friday

1700 - Meet at Tenah Merah Ferry terminal

1820 - Departure of ferry

2000 - Arrive at Tanjong Pinang (note that Indonesia time is an hour behind us). We will then proceed to their local "Newton Circus", followed by a Supermart to stock up on snacks and food for the trip.

2200 -  Arrive at the resort (welcome drink thereafter check into room)

Saturday

0800 – Breakfast Buffet

0900 - First dive

1100 - Second dive

1400 - Third dive

1900 - Night dive

* There are fire works available at the resort. Its legal to set them off there.

 Sunday

0800 - 5th dive.

1000 -  Enjoy resort facilities

 * Spa, Canoeing, flying fish, banana boat, fishing, beach soccer/volleyball, kite boarding, billiard, swimming, etc.

2100 - Home Sweet Home.

Some points to note:

1) The area that we will be diving (Trikora) is not frequently dived thus, the sites are relatively untouched. Expect to see a more vibrant marine life.

2) Excellent resort with good service.

S$390 for leisure divers.
